Senior Action Officer, Director's Action Group

Required:
• A Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Joint Operations Planner.
• Minimum specialized education in military joint operation planning through the JPME II from Page 39 of 127 CJCS accredited joint education program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E. The JIOPC, or other similar military operation planning courses, may be substituted for JPME II.
• Four years of planning experience may be substituted with completion of an advanced Service planner school (SAM’S, SAASS, JAWS, etc.).
• Complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance.
• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with poly security clearance.

Highly Desired:
• Prior strategy development experience.
• Experience in fast-paced environment directly supporting the senior leadership of an organization.
• Demonstrated maturity in communications, professional in manner. Possesses judgment and discretion handling sensitive information and “need to know.”
• Demonstrated initiative in executing past roles and responsibilities.
• Highly organized, flexible with tasking, and has strong ability to multitask.
• Strong executive-level communications, including both written materials and presentations.

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Action Officer, Director's Action Group to join our USCYBERCOM team.

Location: On-site at Fort Meade, MD.

Job Description:
• As a planner within the USCYBERCOM J3 Director’s Action Group (DAG), executes strategic planning to support realization of J3 priorities.
• Drafts implementation guidance for OSD, USCYBERCOM and other high-level directives for cyberspace national strategy, policy, and guidance.
• Manages engagements, materials, and information for senior USCYBERCOM J3 leadership interactions with other Combatant Command (CCMD) senior leadership, Legislative Branch, and other key partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinates leadership communications across subordinate directorates to ensure the intent, messages, and themes for J3 are synchronized, harmonized, clear and consistent.
• Coordinates inputs and craft presentations, papers, and materials IAW J3 senior leadership direction for command projects, proposals, and initiatives.
• Coordinates across USCYBERCOM staff to complete administrative and operational taskings from senior leadership.
• Remains conversant with vision, mission, and intent of J3 Director.
• Provides staff/project support and performs other ad hoc tasks in execution of J3 priorities as required.
