Main Responsibilities
• Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required).
• Ensure use of valid/calibrated tools.
• Populate relevant modification follow-up database and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site Manager.
• Ensure information flow within the field modification team (e.g. shift handover).
• Perform quality self-inspection.
• Respect EHS rules and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system-of-work is available.
• Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modification.
• Ensure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modification.
Main Required Competences
• Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
• Minimum IT knowledge.
• Internal EHS training.
• Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
• English proficiency.
• 1 year field experience.
• Teamwork capacity.
• EHS knowledge and exposure.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Self-government.
• Railway Safety/Product liability knowledge.
• Engineering knowledge.
• Customer contact experience.
• Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical/electronic).
• Team management (if applicable).
