Boeing’s Global Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruiter to join our Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) team in Arlington, Virginia!
In this position, you will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting. You will partner with business leaders and human resources to develop and execute recruitment strategies for niche, hard-to-fill positions that drive the BDS business forward. • Expertise in navigating and understanding the talent market in the Potomac Region
• A knack for crafting and executing recruiting strategies that attract and retain top talent
• A track record of successfully sourcing & recruiting for roles that require Active Top Secret Clearances with Full Scope Polygraphs
Position Responsibilities:
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand critical job requirements, create and implement candidate generation strategies, and deliver the best candidates for each open position
• Leverage our Applicant Tracking System to create and publish requisitions, screen candidates, and assist in providing a smooth on-boarding experience
• Effectively leverage data and analytics to influence recruiting strategy with hiring leaders
• Partner and manage high-touch relationships with internal and external candidates and domestic hiring managers across multiple disciplines, locations and businesses
• Understand and translate technical/functional hiring needs to ensure job descriptions, qualifications and requirements are effectively reflected in job postings
• Search external resume databases proactively using Boolean search strings in a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) environment
• Represent the job requisition, related skills, hiring organization/program and compensation package to effectively pre-screen candidates, identify qualified pool and coordinate interview scheduling
• Maintain pipeline of pre-screened candidates and continued contact with hard to find skilled candidates to retain interest
• Provide proactive and consistent communication with business partners to drive the process, provide status and ensure successful hire within expected timeline
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 5+ years of experience in recruiting talent (sourcing, screening, and closing both internal and external candidates)
• 5+ years of experience sourcing talent using a variety of tools including LinkedIn and professional networks, Boolean searches, and other social media tools
• 5+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
• 5+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Active US Secret security clearance or higher
• 3+ years of experience in corporate recruiting, specializing in roles requiring security clearances
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with business partners, HR, and internal recruiting teams
• Experience working with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) compliance guidelines
• Talented in negotiating compensation packages with both business partners and candidates
• Proficiency using Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools (i.e. Avature, Workday, Sourcepoint, etc.)
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
