Our client, a global business group, is working on their Real-time data platform and is seeking for Data Engineer (Azure Databricks). As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining the data infrastructure to support our growing business needs. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize data processes for performance and efficiency, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive information.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data engineering processes.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Spark, R, Scala, etc.
• Hands-on experience in Azure DataBricks or Synapse
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Haves
• Certification in Databricks or Azure.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for data engineering.
