Job description
Terms of Employment:
• part time, evenings and weekends
Salary:
• $15-$25 hourly, for 10 to 20 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date:
• As soon as possible

• Education: Not applicable
• Credentials: Not applicable
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of coaching experience
Language:
• English mandatory, Hindi, Punjabi are an asset
Sports Concentration:
• Badminton
Work Setting:
• Community-based, local and/or regional badminton club
Specific duties:
• Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions;
• Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs;
• Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games;
• Analyze and evaluate athletes' or teams' performance;
• Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance;
• Provide feedback to players, parents and the Club
• Team player
• Able to take direction from management

• reading text, numeracy, writing, oral communication;

Other requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of coaching experience in Badminton;
• National or provincial badminton competition experience - overseas or local
