Job Title: C++ Developer with Trading Apps Experience
Location: Jersey City , NJ ( Hybrid)
Hybrid Schedule: 2 weeks onsite , 2 weeks remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract with possibility of extension or convert to permanent.
Interview: 2 rounds
Team/ Project Description: The Digital Asset Trading Team is responsible for platform services and APIs that manage trading of crypto currency. Platform contains a crossing engine and a smart router that would connect and send client orders to other exchanges and liquidity providers. In addition to aggregating market data and routing orders the platform also includes multiple internal/external facing user interfaces and API and services to support the platform.
Candidate Profile:
SR LEVEL candidates only
excellent proficiency in C++
10+ years of IT experience as a developer
You have excellent proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
1+ years of Automation testing experience
Trading Equity or FIX Experience
Interview Process - 2 rounds over video zoom
first round is 45 min 1:1 with tech lead - focused on technical/ coding skills
second round is 2 hours- divided into 3 sections with different team members (tech lead, peer, manager) will cover:
language/ coding skills
Thinking ability with multiple ways to solve a problem
behavioral / cultural fit questions
The Role
We are currently sourcing for a Software Engineering (C++)/ Crypto Trading to work in Jersey City, New Jersey. This person will be working in development and delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements. This role will involve partner & stakeholder engagement, design and release support.
• Crafting and implementing technology solutions for the Digital Asset business
• Dedication algorithms for trading / crypto trading
• Working closely with our business partners to supply to business critical initiatives
• Demonstrate software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment,
• Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our efficiency; guides junior team members on technology
• Collaborate with multiple partners/large multi-functional teams as part of work delivery

• Strong experience with C++
• excellent proficiency in Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• You have proficiency in multi-processing and parallel computing
• You have experience and expertise in profiling and performance turning software
• You have proficiency in enterprise design patterns
• Ability to drive mature delivery practices through automation
• proficient with CI & CD tools
• proficient with version control systems and can handle development for multiple releases in parallel
