Experian is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic and highly successful mobile development team. We are searching for a talented and experienced developer who is passionate about Android software engineering and mobile product development.The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, with experience leading development projects from concept to production. The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and debugging mobile applications as well as for providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mobile Computing or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform. You must have a strong understanding of the Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, and Android Studio. You must also have a proven track record of successful mobile application design and development, with the ability to create quality code and debug complex software problems. Responsibilities:
Design, code, and debug mobile applications for the Android platform.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Ensure mobile applications are optimized for performance and scalability.
Monitor and troubleshoot mobile application issues.
Develop user stories, technical specifications, and other documentation as needed.
Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
Improve development processes and best practices.
Stay current with the latest Android technologies and trends.
Participate in code reviews and suggest modifications as needed.
Research and recommend new technologies for mobile application development.
