PROBATE AND ESTATE PLANNING LEGAL ASSISTANT NEEDED:
MONDAY-THURSDAY INDEFINITE TEMPORARY POSITION.. THIS POSITION HAS THE POTENTIAL TO WORK INTO A TEMPORARY-TO-HIRE PART-TIME POSITION FOR THE RIGHT PERSON. *THIS IS NOT A REMOTE OR HYBRID POSITION. YOU WILL REPORT TO AN OFFICE IN SHERMAN OAKS.
• *5 1/2-6 Hours per day between 8:30am-4pm (average 20-24 hours per week) Position does not increase to full-time**.
Experienced Legal Assistant, Secretary, or Paralegal with very fast typing (60wpm)+, heavy transcription expertise, knowledge of legal document processing and tracking. This person needs to be highly organized and able to keep very tight deadlines. Highly detail-oriented and accurate. Position is in a small Law Office and reliability is critical.
• Work experience in Estate Planning and Probates
• Highly computer savvy-MS Office savvy (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ready to work quickly
• Excellent communication, grammar, and spelling
• Legal document processing expertise
• Transcription from a Dictaphone
• Paralegal certificate or training is desired, OR 3+years experience in a Law Office as an Administrative Assistant or Paralegal.
$26-$27/hour
