Team Lead, Programmatic Operations

The Team Lead, Programmatic Operations will assist in the day-to-day operations of the programmatic team, including all digital campaign assignment, delivery and quality control. This role will partner and work closely with senior leadership to develop a streamlined operational setup for maximizing programmatic revenue and use strong, interpersonal communication skills to work effectively across the team. This role requires a strong understanding of programmatic and a leadership mentality.

As a Team Lead, you’ll own strategy management for complex or large spend campaigns, and be responsible for generating strategic insights and delivering results across a team. You’ll oversee all campaign activity and deliverables for the team’s Ad Ops specialist, and facilitate the training and development of the team. The Team Lead determines each individual’s assignments and bandwidth, distributing work as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Direct and manage the daily workflow of all programmatic campaigns, including strategy development, ad operations and trafficking (using Google Campaign Manager ad server), campaign activation and optimization, as well as providing insights
• Manage and grow a team of Ad Ops specialist including staff planning, active participation in hiring process, distributing roles and responsibilities within the team, ensuring equal utilization of team members, conducting performance evaluations and weekly 1-1 meetings.
• Drive team efficiencies and consistency in CRM and other related systems Monitors quality control in audience, campaign, and creative
• Collaborate internally with adjacent teams and externally with vendors
• Responsible for campaign assignment, prioritization, and task delegation
• Conduct trainings for process changes, campaign optimizations and DSP navigation
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products, as well as the greater digital advertising ecosystem
• Provide high level of customer service to internal teams and external clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests, and proactive resolutions to potential issues

Skills/Professional Experience

These qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
• 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications or comparable discipline
• 4+ years of experience in digital campaign execution, specifically in programmatic
• 1+ year(s) of leadership experience, managing 3+ direct reports at one time
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Expert experience in The TradeDesk, LiveRamp and StackAdapt; certifications perferred
• Timeline management and team accountability skills
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas to peers
• Ability to maintain accurate records of procedures and projects and materials.

Work authorization requirements: Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
