THE JOB: The Account Manager is responsible for business development in our Minnesota and Illinois territory through new account acquisition and account maintenance, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within an assigned territory. Important activities include territory forecasting, based on product interest and on consistent goal attainment, continuous pipeline generation, soliciting and securing orders from potential and existing customers, meeting sales expectations, functioning as a key player within the Sales department, and working on special projects as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to identify opportunities for sales orders and meeting customer needs
• Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone and email.
• Conducts a high volume of outbound phone calling on a daily basis
• Timely response and follow up to requests for information, leads generated through conferences and inbound calls, and qualifies each sales prospect
• Responds to customer inquiries via phone and email concerning product features and benefits, price, how to purchase, how to exchange, how to get technical support, and more
• Handles the entire sales process at the direction of the Sales Manager
• Maintains post-sale contact with clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
• Creates and maintains an ongoing business relationship with current industry clients to facilitate current and future sales
• Establishes strong customer relationships including problem resolution with customers about any account problems, concerns, needs, and more and communicates those issues with the company
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of two years successful sales experience, preferably education sales
• Strong customer service experience
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, show proof of auto insurance, and have reliable transportation
WORK LOCATION: Realityworks, Inc. is located in Eau Claire, WI. This is a fully remote position, working from a home office.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel throughout a multi-state territory to attend tradeshows and meet with customers is required. Travel is typically by car and/or air.
