People Manager
The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI)
With increasingly powerful generative AI tools, the rise in digital misinformation, and an urgent need for integrity everywhere from elections to brand advertising, the world of Content Authenticity is exploding with potential. Content provenance is critical to ensure a trustworthy information ecosystem for consumers, publishers, and enterprises. Adobe’s CAI is paving the way for an internet where real photos can be distinguished from synthetic ones, and human artists can protect their work and creativity.
Our team believes that creating a long-term solution is a responsibility shared among creators, technology companies, civil society, and media publishers. We are succeeding by joining together to develop a global technical standard (C2PA) bolstered by a rich open-source ecosystem and simple, clear user experiences. With over 3000 members and steady growth, the CAI community of implementers is helping ensure leading Content Credentials experiences are available everywhere.
The Opportunity
Join our team as Senior Engineering Manager and help bring the power of Content Authenticity to the world through SDKs, UI toolkits and hosted services.
If you are a seasoned leader excited by helping fulfill the basic right to know what the content we consume is, then this role is made for you. Lead and empower a team of accomplished engineers who are dedicated to delivering transparency, attribution, and provenance to all creators.
As an outstanding technology leader you are driven to apply phenomenal tools, just enough process, and steadfast quality. You will ensure smooth handoffs and releases with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with product management and clients: you will work closely with product leadership, customers, and open-source developers to define and refine the roadmap, priorities, and schedule.
• Make data-driven decisions: rely on a combination of data and your instincts to make informed decisions and drive progress. Balancing speed and quality will be instrumental.
• Advocate for engineering excellence: you will champion engineering excellence, contributing to the architecture and high-level structure of our applications. Your depth of technical expertise will ensure that our products are built with high quality, developer experience, and scalability in mind.
• Drive culture and process improvements: You will not only manage your team but also improvements across the entire engineering team. Your insights and experience will help shape engineering practices.
