ETL Developer - Cloud Business Process Mining

Location: core team sits in Houston, TX or Roseville, CA (Locals preferred remote OK for rockstar)

Overview:

Our team is seeking a dynamic and proactive ETL Developer to join our innovative group implementing Business Process Mining software. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in vendor evaluation, system administration, ETL management, and security management of our Cloud-based Business Process Mining Tool. As a member of our team, you will work closely with various stakeholders including data engineers, analysts, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration and utilization of the tool.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage system administration tasks including security management and user access control for our Cloud-based Business Process Mining Tool.
• Setup integration with reporting tools and ensure smooth operation of ETL jobs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop ETL jobs utilizing tools such as Informatica, Talend, or other relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers on platform integration with data pipelines.
• Work with analysts to develop data models supporting Business Process Mining tools.
• Configure and monitor data agents for seamless data integration with the Business Process Mining platform.
• Utilize Windows Server management skills as needed.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Cloud Business Process Mining Tool.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of the Cloud Business Process Mining Tool within various teams, including eMDM teams, ServiceNow Platform team, and CPQ.
• Participate in the ongoing vendor evaluation process, providing insights and recommendations regarding Celonis and Signavio.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, demonstrating flexibility and proactivity.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and willingness to ask questions to drive clarity and progress.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in ETL management and system administration tasks.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and data integration principles.
• Experience working with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and lead through uncertainty.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
