Reporting to the Director of Care Navigation Operations, the Business Analyst will work with clinicians, operations leaders, data science, IT, and other functional teams to analyze business processes, identify needs, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and patient outcomes. This role will serve as point person for the care navigation team on system/tool functionality, data sources, and reporting.
What you'll be doing:
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to identify needs and challenges.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze existing tools, processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Develop process models and recommend changes to optimize operations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new processes and systems.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards to monitor performance and outcomes.
• Use data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value.
• Solution Implementation
• Assist in the selection, configuration, and deployment of tooling
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation.
• Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations
What success looks like in this role:
• Newly established Care Navigation data request process, and reporting for volume of requests, time to resolution, and requester satisfaction
• Recommendations for improvements in existing tooling, and future tooling enhancements
• State of the business report/presentation on Care Navigation and its outcomes
• Standardized expectations for global and domestic Care Navigation on reliable data sources, and the utility of existing tooling and reporting
What we expect from you:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the healthcare or digital health industry.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations, and standards.
• Familiarity with Zendesk, Talkdesk, EHRs (Electronic Health Records), and case management tooling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare information systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, HIS) is desirable.
The target base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
