The Customer Master Data Analyst is responsible for the Commercial Master Data supporting internal processing systems. You will implement and support the best business practices of the organization. You will be directly accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the commercial master data in the SAP and Salesforce.com systems. You will be instrumental in keeping the systems useful and relevant to the sales team and management users. You will learn how to assess Customer Master Data for accuracy, relevancy, and application to up and downstream systems and activities. You will be involved in the design and management of pricing tools, and design and use databases and dashboards.
This position is part of the Customer Master Data & Analytics team and will be remote. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Implement sales territory assignments and maintain healthcare system hierarchies to support sales tools.
• Be part of a team, and accountable for some components, of the design and implementation of standardized business practices for Commercial Business Operations including creation of PowerBI Dashboards, SFDC reports and dashboards, and SQL queries.
• Accountable to CMD standards and guidelines for data that does not meet the established business requirements.
• Ensure inbound data has been scrubbed and formatted to meet minimum requirements prior to input into SAP and Salesforce.com.
• Act as a liasion for analyzing problems and resolutions relating to Commercial and Business Operations data.
• Maintain a high degree of data integrity, quality and consistency.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in SAP, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and SalesForce.com.
• Ability to write simple SQL queries, ability to apply logic to challenges and recognize up and downstream impacts of data generation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Medical Device industry, Distribution Business Operations or Commercial Business Operations Organization

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 59,000-$103,200. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
