Job Overview:
We are a growing firm specializing in government contracting and proposal development. We are seeking a part-time Government Proposal Writer to identify bid opportunities based on defined standards and create compelling responses for government solicitations, RFPs, and RFQs. This remote position requires availability Monday through Friday, working 20-25 hours per week, with core hours between 3:30 AM and 7:30 PM EST. The pay rate is $16 per hour, with opportunities for growth based on performance.
Responsibilities:
Bid Opportunity Research: Identify relevant government contracts on platforms such as SAM.gov, DIBBS, Unison, eMMa, and PlanetBids, following defined standards.
Proposal Writing: Develop clear, persuasive, and compliant proposals in response to government solicitations.
Compliance: Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure all elements are addressed accurately and strategically.
Content Creation: Create and maintain proposal templates and standardized content for efficiency.
Timeline Management: Coordinate with team members to ensure timely submission of proposals.
Editing & Quality Control: Review and edit proposals to ensure high quality and adherence to submission guidelines.
Monitor Opportunities: Regularly track and update new and relevant solicitations through online procurement platforms.
Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided on our proposal processes, defined research standards, and platform navigation.

Availability to work 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within core hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST).

Strong portfolio showcasing government proposals.
