Under the Director of Research, the Data & Reporting Coordinator will support institutional research processes by collecting data from departments college-wide, utilizing computer programs to manipulate and process data, and compiling various reports for internal and external stakeholders. To successfully accomplish these goals, the data & Reporting Coordinator will have strong data collection, data analysis, mathematical and related computer software skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solicits and collects data from departments college - wide; utilizes computer program procedures to perform data collection and mathematical analysis.
- Works with the Director of Research to compile and manipulate data for reports mandated by state and federal agencies and requested by college faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Maintains effective relationships with departments college - wide who have access to relevant institutional data; develops and sustains data collection processes that result in the timely submission of data to internal and external stakeholders.
-Remains up to-date on best practices in data collection and analysis, reporting guidelines for mandated reports, and College systems, processes, and personnel related to the effective collection and presentation of data. Bachelor's Degree and professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of quantified data. Master's degree in statistics may be substituted for the required work experience.
