A. Job Summary & Dimensions

Working as a member of the Platform Infrastructure Team; supporting the successful provision, maintannce and evolution of the SaaS Platform, principally in the US, but also the EU and other teritories, covering and visiting locations as required. Stakeholder management and communication with colleagues and vendors requires excellent comunication, collaboration and prioritization skills as you work across time zones and remote communication channels.

Proactively identifying and responding to complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; working closely with colleagues within the Platform Infrastructure Team as well as those within the Product Development and Technical Support teams, ensuring an excellent customer experience is maintained.

Administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of physical and virtual server infrastructure, hosting Enterprise Applications across local and remote data centers; responsible for the platform architecture, security, compliance and software services required to provide the in-house develped SaaS Platform in line with customer SLAs and KPIs.

Demonstrating a real-world understanding, and application, of efficient and suitable automation (Powershell, Python, Bash) to mitgate the need for routine tasks and maintennce to be handled by members of the Platform Infrastructure and Product Development teams.

Expereienced in successfully provisioning and maintaining secure physcial and virutal infrastructure, including but not limited to web, application and database servers as well as network applicances and their associated network protocols, services, and configurations, along with experience in firewall management and network troubleshooting.

Relying on extensive experience and judgement to work individually as well as working in cross-functional teams to deliver projects and inittives on time and on budget. Demonstrating a cotinuous commitment to learning along with a willingness to embrace change.

B. Job Accountabilities

Proactively provision, support and where necessary remedy performance and issues on the platform, associated devices and applications, maintaining adherence to key performance indicators, taking appropriate independent action to correct non-conformance in line with defined targets and SLAs.

Patching and maintenance of all hardware and software components of the platform; maintaining an accurate inventory of the constituent parts, providing recommendations and solutions related to early notice of required, planned, and proposed maintenance, vulnerabilities, and replacements in line with targets.

Efficient and proactive maintenance of all data and system backups and their lifecycle, validating restoration activities as well as ensuring system capacity is maintained and risks are flagged and effectively mitigated without causing impact to customers

Timely and effective execution, management and resolution of incidents and platform generated events, managed through the internal ticketing system, to provide a high performance of customer satisfaction on the SaaS platform through effective collaboration with colleagues and vendors

Development and maintenance of all platform related documentation, SOPs, installation and configuration procedures and their support in certification and audit activities as well as in supporting colleagues in their knowledge and availability of information.

II. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Indicate what is “required” versus what is considered “preferred”)

Education, Training (Licenses and Certificates) and Work Experience

1. 7 years experience in IT support and operations

2. Ability to effectively communicate vision with management, peers and business partners

3. Strong problem solving skills

4. Strong technical creativity

5.Proficient in MS SQL Server operating system and database administration, query writing and performance tuning

6. Preferred experience in scalable web applications based on ASP.NET

7.Practical experience working with virtualization products, notably VMWare and Hyper-V

Preferred

Strong experience within a Directory Service stack. (Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, GPO, AD Federation, SAML, ADFS, Multi Factor, Azure AD connect

Knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies, data backup, disaster recovery planning, and data retention policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
