Description
The goal of the Siri Natural Language team is to take Siri to the next level of intelligence and accuracy in natural language understanding. You will design and implement low latency Siri NLU on-device. You should be passionate about taking machine learning model inference algorithms into production. Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work across multiple teams to resolve issues.

• Experience developing in C++ and Python
• Strong understanding of algorithms and software design
• Experience working on CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills to work well with cross-functional engineering teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Proven ability to quickly learn and modify large, existing code base
• Experience with NLP or search engine is a plus
• Experience building model release or validation pipelines is a plus
• Experience with on-device development in Obj-C / Swift is a plus
• Experience in or be passionate about optimizing system performance to improve end user experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
