In order to successfully maintain store inventory, the Inventory Management Specialist at Home Depot must work independently and collaboratively with the team. This role requires the handling of merchandise in an efficient and accurate manner.

• Unload Trucks: Receive incoming freight from trucks and unload it efficiently while ensuring careful documentation.
• Stocking: Shift goods to their designated storage zones, order stock areas, and refresh displays as necessary.
• Inventory Management: Ensure inventory correctness by labeling and sorting products in a correct manner. Help with inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy of stock count.
• Equipment Operation: Perform equipment operation duties while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Prioritize cleanliness in the working environment by keeping relevant and necessary items in designated spaces. Regularly clean and sanitize all common areas and surfaces to maintain a healthy and hygienic workspace.
• Customer Service: Enhance customer experience by supporting them in searching for products and addressing their concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Develop a collaborative approach with associates to streamline workflow and improve store performance.
Qualifications:
• Education: Obtaining a high school diploma or something equivalent is necessary for education.
