Junior Accountant

Talino Ventures Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to join our finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure compliance with company guidelines, federal and state regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the preparation of financial statements. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance department with accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance:
• Ensure all financial statements and practices adhere to company guidelines, GAAP, and relevant federal and state regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including tax filings and other compliance-related documentation.
• Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and standards, and support the implementation of necessary adjustments.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in preparing accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and management to ensure the timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Internal Controls:
• Help maintain and improve internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Participate in periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Financial Analysis:
• Support the finance team with financial analysis and reporting to assist management in decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
• Work with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in financial planning and budgeting processes as needed.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with federal and state financial regulations.
• Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
