This position is the entry position for production floor leadership. A person in this position manages a minimum of 21 TA’s at a time (Either front end or back end). They act as a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, and advice to employees. People in this position could develop into a TL II as a next step in their Element Career. A person in this position works to enforce element policies and procedures on the floor. They are the first leadership custodians of Element’s mission, vision, and values and how the plant culture should be. They ensure timely line startup, check for product accuracy and availability, and meet production KPI’s through people. Other responsibilities are:

Leadership (50%)
• Endeavor to add value to the manufacturing organization as part of a team by making positive
• contributions in the areas of safety, quality and production.
• Adherence to all safety procedures and use of equipment, such as: test platforms, gauges,
• screwdrivers, material handling equipment, etc.
• Vigilance in identifying needed repairs or additions/improvements to the manufacturing equipment and
• processes.
• Committed support all other team members working to achieve operational goals.
• A proactive desire to learn more about all other jobs through cross-training.
• Passion for Element Electronics’ mission, vision, values and core pillars

Training and Coverage (35%)
• Must cover production team associates’ absences, vacation, leave, etc.
• Learning to operate machinery to expected performance levels (Control Panel adjustments for line speed, Screw gun torque adjustments, Tape Machine setup, Testing Equipment Setup)
• Train and follow-up with all operators to ensure they are following the SOP.

Special Projects (10%)
• Performing basic care duties such as repairing minor issues, line housekeeping, and material
• fulfillment (Screws, Mainboards, Boxes, Screw guns, Roku Players, and Cables)
• Keeping the work area clean throughout the shift to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
• Complete special projects independently as assigned by management.

All other duties as assigned by management (5%)

Requirements
• HS Diploma or some college education preferred
• 1-3 years experience leading a team of at least 15-21 hourly employees per time
• Leadership and team leadership and is focused on a particular core or team.
• Computer savvy – Microsoft Office intermediate level
• Ability to have courageous conversations and provide initial CA investigations
• Ability to teach and train hourly employees
• Good people skills
