The Analyst will serve as procedural and system support for Quality Assurance Inventory Control and Cycle Count teams with a primary focus on DC inventory integrity, customer service, training and procedural compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Support Distribution Center Quality Assurance teams in all aspects of Inventory Control and Cycle Count.
Ensure QA Inventory Control and Cycle Count team procedures, training documentation and QA DC Audits are consistent with best practices and the most recent system enhancements.
Monitor, research and analyze data for the improvement of key performance indicators including ship % with on hand, DC shrink and cycle counting accuracy percentages.
Research and report QA team focus area statistics and percentages.
Follow-up with DCs to address issues with performance and procedural compliance.
Lead regular meetings with QA teams for training and communication of distribution objectives.
Work closely with internal departments, as needed, to resolve Quality Assurance issues.
Assist with the implementation of system enhancements including comprehensive end-user testing.
Perform cost/benefit analyses to support system enhancements and process improvements.
Monitor results of project implementations in relation to expected benefits.
Travel as needed to support distribution objectives, system implementations and training.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
2 years of experience in an O’Reilly Distribution Center Operations
Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Query Tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired:
2 years’ experience in DC Quality Assurance
