Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.), 3 years of experience working in analytical roles in marketing, data science, or financial services.
• 3 years of experience designing, executing, and delivering analysis projects and measurement approaches, with experience translating business problems into analytical questions and marketing recommendations.
• Experience with SQL, R, SPSS, or similar statistical programming languages.
3 years of experience in marketing analytics, designing experiments, developing statistical models, measuring campaigns, and identifying optimization opportunities, or comparable experience using data and analytics in technology or financial services.
• Experience in processing and analyzing data from large and complex datasets.
• Experience supporting multiple products/teams concurrently, and ability to manage multiple projects in a constantly evolving environment of priorities.
• Familiarity with performance analytics, growth, or product analytics.
You will drive measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives supporting global and regional marketing programs. You will directly analyze large data sets, and design and perform statistical analyses that continuously improve our process efficiency and campaign impact. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of marketing, product management, analytics and engineers, you will tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics/methodologies and generate insights that enable marketers to develop valuable, highly effective programs.
In this role, you will manage analytics of various marketing programs for products within Google Platforms. You will develop methodologies to understand the impact from engagement marketing, direct response, and strategic programs within marketing. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Establish success metrics, develop methodologies, and execute measurement to explain the incremental impact of marketing actions.
• Understand the business challenges and propose analytic projects to inform strategic and tactical business decisions.
• Conduct data analysis with high autonomy in structured and unstructured data environments. This means working with ease on large, complex data sets or developing sound frameworks with limited data infrastructure.
• Partner cross-functionally with a variety of teams and stakeholders including product marketing managers, analysts, and engineers to execute high-impact initiatives.
