Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to read and understand shop orders, production schedules and follow written and verbal instructions
• Meet and exceed company's expectations (Safety, Quality, Productivity)
• Identify and Separate defective/non conforming parts
• Monitor attendance, attitude and performance of individuals in various positions
• Make recommendations for hire, promotion, discipline, etc.
• Assist Supervisor in directing associates with respect to production volume, quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates.
• Train new employees on on work procedures and other job related duties.
• Ensure machinery equipment and facilities are properly maintained
• Other duties are required
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to stand the entire shift.
• Position requires bending, stooping, stretching and reaching.
Education and/or Experience Level
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-starter and well organized.
• Should be able to work well in a multicultural environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Basic knowledge of computer use.
• Flexible to perform multiple job functions and duties.
Language Skills/PPE Requirements
• Basic understanding of English Language (Bilingual a plus)
• Safety Shoes, Glasses and hearing protection is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
