As a Driver, you would provide transportation services to individuals with developmental disabilities who are transported by ArcGNO. This position is part-time and split shift morning 7:00am- 9:00am and afternoon 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Starting salary is $11.00 hr.
Responsibilities include:
Provide safe and reliable transportation to passengers transported by CGArc
Ensuring all passengers are properly seated and secured in vehicles
Ensuring people in wheelchairs are safely secured
Ensuring proper supervision of passengers
Following all safety protocol including reporting of accidents, following all traffic safety laws, and ensures the safety of all passengers
Maintains daily trip logs and other related paperwork
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma/GED preferred
Drivers must have a clean MVR report and be insurable under agency's insurance
Have or Maintain a Valid Drivers License
Experience Working Alongside Individuals With Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Is Preferred
Knowledge of local area addresses and streets, etc preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift individuals (around 35 to 50 lbs) if required
Operate an agency transport vehicle
Be physically able to perform First Aid/CPR and Behavioral intervention techniques if required (will train on skills)
