Job Summary:

Follows pre-established plans for project logistics and quality checks, with highly detailed guidelines. Follows well-defined processes and procedures to resolve basic questions. Reviews goals, deliverables, and key milestones for project components. Attends external and/or internal engagements and occasionally gathers documentation for team members to use for formal presentations to various audiences. Utilizes basic knowledge when completing assigned tasks to assist with developing content and communications to align messages or to advance the sale. Prepares and gathers basic information on the health insurance benefits and product offerings proposed by their team and/or cross-functional partners in case follow-up questions arise for their supervisor, immediate work group, and/or cross-functional partners. Assists the team to execute all basic business processes related to lead/prospect/customer and/or channel partner requests. Utilizes highly detailed processes and procedures to prepare for and assist with small-scale data entry, reconciliation, and processes in departmental systems as appropriate to ensure the integrity and reliability of data. Under supervision and detailed guidance, supports the organization and review of data about lead/prospect/customer and/or channel partner needs, and learns to identify recommendations that link to KPs mission, vision and values, service quality, and current product and service offerings.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Works with others within immediate work group to obtain basic information. Listens to and addresses performance feedback. Responds to the needs of others as directed to support completion of routine work tasks.
• Follows clearly defined procedures and well-defined, specific instructions to complete routine tasks with significant guidance. Adheres to established processes, procedures, and deadlines, with guidance. Identifies and speaks up for improvement opportunities within own work.
• Contributes to the administration of benefits and products by: assisting with basic internal business processes related to the benefits and product offering that Sales and Account Management teams are presenting to customers; preparing and gathering basic information on the health insurance benefits and product offerings proposed by their team and/or cross-functional partners in case follow-up questions arise for their supervisor and immediate work group and/or cross-functional partners; and learning about essential business practices regarding benefits policies to assist team members to ensure that all benefit requests meet requirements and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Assists in effective communication practices by: attending external and/or internal engagements and occasionally gathering documentation for team members to use for formal presentations to various audiences; following clearly defined information to stay informed and up to date on important information and influencing events; and acquiring basic knowledge when completing assigned tasks to assist in developing content and communications to align messages or to advance the sale.
• Helps ensure sales data are used advantageously by: utilizing highly detailed processes and procedures to prepare for and assist with small-scale data entry, reconciliation, and processing in various applicable departmental systems as appropriate to ensure integrity and reliability in data; and utilizing basic processes to conduct analyses for reporting on lead/prospect/customer accounts, sales channels, activities, and/or events to inform the teams recommendations (e.g., membership and account trends) and action plans.
• Contributes to a positive lead/prospect/customer and/or channel partner experience by: assisting with basic protocols to build upon and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders, lead/prospect/customer, channel partners, and third-party administrators (TPA) to demonstrate value and build commitment with significant guidance; assisting with supporting the organization and review of data about lead/prospect/customer and/or channel partner needs, learning to identify recommendations that link to KPs mission, vision and values, service quality, and current product and service offerings with significant guidance; acquiring knowledge of products, services, and ratings to assist in responding to, encouraging, and educating leads/prospects/customers, brokers, and consultants about services and product enhancements in basic situations; and learning from team members and supervisors to learn to identify opportunities to better meet the needs of leads/prospects/customers and/or channel partners.
