Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management-Pharmacy.
In this role, the successful candidate as the Senior Pharmacy Services Specialist will focus on supporting the Manager of Pharmacy Services in projects within the Supply Chain Management teams This person will focus on the ongoing support to mitigate medication shortages by finding the root cause of availability issues and identifying solutions They take the lead on strategizing and socializing long term plans for constrained items and communicate to all stakeholders effectively They are action oriented pay close attention to detail and are analytical in their approach The Sr Pharmacy Services Specialist will also provide additional support to the Pharmacy Services Specialist in solutioning constrained medications that are of immediate need They lead the quick coordination of external and internal stakeholders to solve complex product availability issues preventing potential service disruptions from occurring They know when to escalate issues to leadership for further support
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the Manager of Pharmacy Services in Supply Chain Management projects focusing on mitigating product shortages and addressing medication procurement issues
• Analyze root causes of medication access constraints and develop effective solutions to ensure product availability
• Support the communication of long term strategies for constrained items ensuring alignment with stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Services Specialist to prioritize and resolve immediate needs related to constrained products
• Coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex product availability challenges promptly
• Take proactive measures to prevent potential service disruptions and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed
• Utilize analytical skills to drive data driven insights and recommendations for optimizing supply chain operations
• Maintain a meticulous approach to detail ensuring accuracy in all phases of project execution and communication
• Lead the management of long term product backorders and discontinuations from issue identification until resolution nbsp;
• Analyze reporting to identify areas where supply disruption is at risk nbsp;
• Analyze internal data such as purchase order history and inventory data to support issue resolution
• Build connections across supply chain teams and succeed in bringing multiple groups together to achieve a common goal nbsp;
• Plan strategy for at risk inventory utilizing external reporting information
• Present data and other key information to upper management in various settings nbsp;
• Report out on key metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and training modules to ensure consistent day to day execution
• Participate in special projects and serve as the liaison between the Pharmacy teams and the Supply Chain Management team nbsp;
• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Has a strong customer focus a sense of urgency and high level of accountability. Demonstrated ability to lead through problem management and resolution. Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to upper management teams. Experienced in leading projects and a strong history of working with cross functional partners Comfortable analyzing data and presenting findings
Preferred Qualifications:
