About this opportunity :
As a Senior Research Scientist you will be responsible for leading and managing the analytical tasks for one or more projects to support research and development primarily focused on oligonucleotides.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluation of various types of state-of the art software for oligonucleotide analysis by high resolution mass spectrometry.
• Advocate for new software and instrument implementations with technological write ups and presentations.
• Manage more than one chromatography tandem mass spectrometry or chromatography-mass spectrometry projects in parallel.
• Operate and troubleshoot mass spectrometers.
• Adaptation of software tools for cGMP environment.
• Supervise/manage/train staff as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Degree in Chemistry, PhD degree with 0+ years or MS degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge in high resolution mass spectrometry, tandem mass spectrometry, impurities analysis
• Testing skills of complex software programs.
• Hands-on experience of analytical techniques used in oligonucleotides or other large molecules.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentations to variety of audiences
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Perform advanced algebraic and statistical calculations correctly.
• Author, revise and approve laboratory SOPs.
