Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities:

The VCU Massey Cancer Survivorship Research is seeking to hire a PHD level research program manager to build the Cancer Survivorship research portfolio. This is a non-academic research position with an administrative appointment in the Massey Cancer Center.

Responsibilities will include preparation and submission of research manuscripts, overseeing active research protocols including all data collection, working with Clinical Trial Office and IRB on protocol submission, consenting of research subjects, supervising other research personnel, and collaborating with VCU research faculty on other survivorship research efforts. In addition, the research scientist will be responsible for seeking both internal and external funding sources and work with Dr. Palesh and other key faculty in grant preparation and submission.
