Planner, NA Inventory (Outlet)

Primary Purpose: The Planner will be responsible in managing the regional deployment of inventory around the network within specified channel. They will create and apply inventory policies to maintain the desired inventory levels for Coach North America. The Planner will work closely with the Business Units to align and stay connected on inventory plans for Coach North America.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Inventory Planning to…
• Plan and manage inventory rebalancing across locations and regions; and set SKU targets by DC locations
• Support Demand/Inventory Review, Supply Review and Integrated Reconciliation
• Manages In-season inventory node allocation, including wholesale order book and manage in-bound inventory allocation
• Identifies discrepancies within inventory and proposes solutions
• Manage cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
• Responsible for automated Inventory Netting to ensure inventory service level at location for all product segments
• Supports end-of-life management process
• Build relationships, interact, and collaborate with sales, operations, finance, buying, demand management, and supply chain partners.

The accomplished individual will possess...
• 1+ years of relevant experience in planning, buying, merchandising and/or retail finance, or other related area
• Experience in S&OP/SDS process meetings; approved inventory plans being used in S&OP meetings
• Understanding of inventory planning and management techniques
• Experience in reviewing inventory planning KPIs and developing plans to address issues
• Experience in inventory planning continuous improvement efforts
• Strong brand, retail, supply chain, manufacturing and overall retail business acumen
• Strong customer orientation and commercial drive
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform in a command and control role under pressure and manage priorities
• A courageous individual who will take ownership of his/her decisions and guide and push back in a diplomatic manner even when faced with dissenting points of view
