Application Support Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Support Specialist to join the Nelnet team! As an Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, analysis, and maintenance of our applications used by both external and internal customers.To be successful in this role, you must have a good working knowledge of various software and hardware systems, as well as experience troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with various stakeholders. In addition, you will need to demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.If you are an innovative problem-solver with strong technical skills and a passion for customer service, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and analysis for applications used by external and internal customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
Maintain and update applications as needed.
Manage and administer software and hardware systems.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly.
Monitor customer feedback and provide timely resolutions.
Work independently and collaboratively with other members of the team.
Develop creative solutions for customer needs.
Analyze and improve existing processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
