40 Year old Technology Firm is seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager - Data Center to oversee the development and implementation of data center projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment procurement, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage data center projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other external parties to procure necessary equipment and services.
• Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center infrastructure projects.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in data center operations, facilities management, or IT infrastructure.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
