The Test and Trace Corps is seeking a motivated Data Quality Analyst to be part of our Data, Analytics, and Product Development Team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to organizing, analyzing, and communicating data to support and inform programmatic and operational efforts.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
• Technical Experience: Proven experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Data Skills: Expertise in creating and understanding workflows and building them in the LMS. Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Excel, and related data analytics toolsets.
• Education: A Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration or an equivalent program with four (4) years of relevant experience preferred. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Report to the Data Quality Unit Director, ensuring standard handling and representation of data.
• Assist in the development of processes and coding to classify and standardize data for meaningful analyses to advance program effectiveness.
• Validate data completeness and accuracy based on established guidelines, collaborating with data providers to enhance data management workflows.
• Identify and mitigate potential data issues in collaboration with data staff and other departments.
• Regulate and advise on protocols to maintain the cleanliness of data produced by data managers, data scientists, and data analysts.
• Clean large datasets efficiently and thoroughly as needed.
• Audit and report the quality control (QC) of data analysis and visualizations for Test and Trace Corps functions.
Preferred Skills:
• Ability to work autonomously, think analytically, and proactively solve data issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain data systems to non-technical teams.
• Strong quality control abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• NYC Residency: Preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Combination of Experience: A satisfactory combination of training, education, and/or experience will also be considered.
