Title: Healthcare ETL Developer with Data Warehouse
Location: 100 % Remote
Duration: 6 Months contract to hire
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team you will be working to design and deliver Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions consistent with a long-term data strategy. Execute the technical aspects of system integration deliverables for EDM including data integration, data quality, and data governance initiatives and activities. You will be expected to leverage extensive T-SQL and Data Integration knowledge and concepts especially in the areas of DW development, SQL tuning, and multi-application integration.
I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Development and maintenance of data integration processes and procedures in both SQL Server and Azure environments.
· Implement processes that comply with client development standards.
· Support version control, release management, testing and user acceptance testing.
· Performance tuning of integration and reporting processes.
· Develop partnerships with business stakeholders and facilitate clear communication all aspects of ongoing technology initiatives
· Perform business analysis functions, including enlisting, documenting and prioritizing new product capabilities and functionality for products that drive revenue cycle workflows
· Accountable to adhere to all internal controls, and maintain documentation as required by Client’s policies and procedures
· Customer oriented; develop relationships, anticipate and address the needs of all end-user groups effectively
· Actively collaborate across teams for on-time delivery of objectives
II. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education
Minimum: Associate’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
Experience:
· 3+ years of ETL and SQL development experience with SSIS.
· 2+ years of experience with data warehouse design and methodologies, including change data capture, load logging and dimensional modeling.
· 2+ years of experience delivering data quality outcomes, performing and presenting data profiling results, working with relational databases and a multitude of file formats.
· 1+ year dev ops experience.
· 2 years health care data experience
· Demonstrated excellence using logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills-including the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms.
· Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and research into systems and data issues.
VII. LIST SPECIAL JOB OR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Indoor office environment
· Remote workspace that is clean, safe, and professional.
· Maintains an internet connection consistent with Sound standards at remote workspace.
· Remain productive and responsive during their scheduled work hours.
· Attend primary Sound Tacoma office location, as needed.
