Skilled Manual Machinist

We are looking for a Skilled Manual Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. This position requires extensive knowledge of running various manual machines, setting up and dialing in various parts, and working independently with limited instruction. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of manual machining experience, demonstrated attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within fixed time windows for each manufacturing process. Responsibilities:
• Work safely and utilize Stop Work Authority when appropriate
• Follow all routers and machining procedures needed to machine parts using manual machines
• Ability to hold tolerances, often as low as 0.0005 and read prints and drawings
• Exhibit behavior that encourages teambuilding, decision making, problem solving, and continuous improvements
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• 5+ years of manual machining experience
• Experience working in a cross-functional, diverse, and responsive team
• Demonstrated attention to detail and processes
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
Preferred skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with rotating equipment is a plus
