Summary :
This Industry Solutions Consultant is responsible for assisting with the design and the testing of ftwilliam.com product features and enhancements focusing on, but not limited to, the ftwPortal Pro software. This individual works as part of an agile team making sure features and enhancements are well designed and tested thoroughly to make sure items delivered to production are in working order to provide the best user experience.
Hybrid : Eight days a month we come together in our office to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will report to the Manager, Consulting - Industry Solutions - LR US and work under the leadership of the Director, Product & Operations - LR US . This role is a part of the CCH Incorporated - LR US division. #LI-Hybrid

Required Job Qualifications (Minimum):
• Experience:
• 0-5 years of experience in the retirement plan industry
• 0-5 years of experience working in a development QA environment
• MS Office suite, especially Excel
• customer support
• Familiarity with ftwilliam.com’sftwPortal Pro software
• Familiarity with automated testing tools
• *Travel: * Not expected to exceed 2-3 trips per year
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Education :
• 4 Year degree preferably Bachelor’s in Quality Assurance or equivalent experience is a plus, not required
• Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC) designation through ASPPA or equivalent experience is a plus, not required
• Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) is a plus, not required
• Experience :

• Ability to perform well under pressure
Essential Responsibilities:
• Collect design requirements and, working with product owner, help create user stories, complete with sample plans and acceptance testing, that developers will use to develop new features and enhancements
• Fully test new features and document all tests that have been run
• Manual testing
• The use of automated testing software to create regression tests for similar features and enhancements
• Stay up to date with current testing practices and methodologies
• Suggest software improvements through the course of testing
• Work with other QA staff to create testing policies and procedures so that documentation is consistent
S oftware Quality Assurance Duties :
• To learn how to use the automated testing software to serve as future regression tests
• Comprehensive knowledge of Excel
• Able to switch gears and help test other parts of the software, when requested
• Will need a basic understanding of all software modules that ftwilliam.com offers
• Assist with all areas of customer support, when applicable, during busy times
• Normal office environment
