Senior Accountant needed for busy manufacturing company near Glendale Heights. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
• Month-end closing activities including: prepare and record journal entries
• Maintain the company’s fixed asset system and monthly fixed asset capital analysis
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts to the general ledger
• Process credit memos and retention invoices through Sage
• Prepare quarterly construction bonuses and commissions
• Assist with the annual audit process by providing auditors with requested financial documents
Qualifications
• 4+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
