Position Summary
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be instrumental in shaping our organization's financial future. Collaborating with the CEO and senior leadership, you will develop financial strategies aligned with our mission. Your expertise will ensure compliance with financial regulations and enhance our financial stability.
Financial Strategy And Planning
• Maintain financial health and provide insights for growth and efficiency
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our goals
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with leadership
• Provide timely financial analysis and support to the executive team and Board of Directors
Accounting, Financial, And Risk Management
• Oversee accounting operations to ensure compliance with regulations
• Implement best practices for fiscal management
• Manage cash flow effectively and develop policies for short and long-term needs
• Protect assets through internal controls and oversight of insurance and contracts
Financial Reporting And Analysis
• Establish financial benchmarks and develop performance dashboards
• Prepare reports for Board meetings and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Manage annual audits and ensure timely filing of tax documents
Qualifications And Personal Characteristics
• Genuine commitment to supporting seniors
• Entrepreneurial mindset with revenue generation experience
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial management with at least 5 years in a similar role
• Strong organizational skills with proven track record in staff development
• Customer-focused, dynamic, and solutions-driven with excellent analytical and communication skills
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred
• 5-7 years of managerial experience in accounting or finance, including 2 years as a CFO
• Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and financial compliance preferred
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce familiarity desired
• Background check and physical required
Salary And Benefits
• Starting salary: $210k - $245k annually
• Full-time position with health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance
• 403(b) plan with a 3% discretionary contribution
• 15 vacation days plus 10 paid holidays annually
