Director, Business Development

Client is seeking an experienced professional to join our Settlement Administration team. The role involves expanding our client base and assisting with settlement and claims administration, with a focus on business development, client relations, and supporting complex legal tasks. For candidates in Philadelphia or New York, the position may be hybrid or remote. For other locations, it will be fully remote.
Responsibilities
• Develop and expand client base through networking and relationship-building
• Consult with attorneys on notice plans and settlement administration
• Generate leads, source client referrals, and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with leadership to implement growth strategies
• Prepare and execute business development plans, proposals, and responses to RFPs
• Work with marketing on thought leadership materials
• Negotiate proposals and contracts
• Maintain records and reports for ongoing projects
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in claims, settlement administration, or related legal field
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven experience in relationship-building and client management
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client service
