GitHub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software, together. We're looking for experienced Senior Solutions Engineers in the United States to provide technical sales support for our enterprise customer base in Latin and Southern America.
Our Senior Solutions Engineers are responsible for the technical relationships with customers and prospects, working as a trusted advisor to remove technical objections and creatively address pain points in a customer's SDLC. They will work internally with sales and product development teams to identify solutions that meet customers' business needs and document requests to expand the capabilities of GitHub's platform.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• Identifying customer business & technical requirements and matching them to product solutions
• Building joint customer strategies with enterprise sales, support, and customer success to encourage product adoption
• Delivering live demonstrations of GitHub’s products and platform to prospective customers
• Navigating complex technical scenarios to help customers migrate to GitHub from their existing development tools and workflows
• Building relationships with key decision makers and serving as a customer's technical point of contact and advocate
• Learning about customers' successes and challenges, sharing customer feedback within GitHub, and advocating for customer interests
• Applying understanding of customer environment and goals to provide oversight and guide post-sales teams to successful outcomes
• Representing GitHub at Industry events in Latin and Southern America
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years experience in software or systems engineering, product, design, or other related technical role
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing pre or post sales solutions engineering, technical consulting, DevSecOps or other related roles
• Ability to travel up to 25% when needed to Latin and Southern America
• Spanish Language business proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
• Brazilian, Portuguese language proficiency
• Experience working in technical sales with Latin and South American countries
• Ability to identify and solve technical and business challenges related to software delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with prior public speaking experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with domain knowledge in one or more of the following:
• *
Source Control Management (SCM) including Git & GitHub workflows, and the value of DevOps & DevSecOps
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture, tools and workflows
• DevSecOps, including software composition and security analysis, SAST/DAST tooling, and common patterns & industry trends
• Artificial Intelligence’s impact on the developer tools space
Experience working in or with large software development teams
Compensation Range
The base salary range for this job is USD $88,900.00 - USD $235,900.00 /Yr.
In addition, this role also has the opportunity to earn sales incentives. On target earnings (OTE) is based on a 70/30 base salary/sales incentive.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
