Job Title: Business Data Analyst with AWS & SQL

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract

Business Analyst Responsibilities
• Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Gather requirements, document findings, and maintain communication across cross-functional teams.
• Identifying challenges and proposing strategic solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with business teams to develop logic and KPI formulas, conduct UAT testing, and gain insights into data domains and their impact on network performance.
• Utilize exploratory data analysis (EDA)to provide data-driven insights and share results with stakeholders
• Facilitate the adoption of new processes and tools, guiding internal stakeholders while establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Data Analyst/Developer Responsibilities
• Support ongoing projects including
• Customer Experience
• GenAI initiatives
• Develop and maintain Samsung KPIs using AWS services (Redshift, Athena, and Lambda functions)
• Utilize SQL, Python, and AWS services (Glue, EMR) to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, business consultants, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical objectives.
• Build logic and analyze data for data lake projects.
• Enable ETL pipelines with quality checks, validations, and data cleansing as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses across data domains (RAN, SnowFlake DB)
• Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Educational Qualifications:
• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:
• Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
