Java Software Developer
Location: Hybrid / In-office, Troy, NY - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE
$80-110K DOE

We’re seeking a skilled Java Software Developer to contribute to all stages of product development, deployment, and life cycle management. This is primarily a back-end coding position (not UI) and requires exceptional logic skills!

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop desktop and mobile applications based on functional specifications
• Design technical architectures and infrastructure for product suites
• Coordinate with development teams to define releases, sprints, and manage roadmaps
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure secure, scalable software
• Contribute to release management, planning, and enhancing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Mentor team members to broaden their technical capabilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in Java service development (MySQL, Hibernate, Spring, Maven, React, TypeScript)
• Proven track record of troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing complex codebases
• Familiarity with DevOps environments and methodologies
• Interest in team building and mentoring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience; supervisory/team leadership experience preferred
• Prior exposure to healthcare applications is a plus
• US Citizenship is required
