Job Title: Product Quality Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Product Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring product excellence. As a Product Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the quality of our products through rigorous testing, analysis, and process improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance Testing:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to evaluate product quality.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on products.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working with development teams to resolve them.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports on product quality, highlighting issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on key quality indicators and metrics.
• Process Improvement:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize testing processes and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance activities.
• Customer Feedback and Issue Resolution:
• Monitor customer feedback and support tickets to identify quality issues.
• Investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints and issues.
• Work with product and support teams to implement solutions and preventive measures.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, test results, and issue resolutions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence.
The major purpose of this position is to lead the necessary on-going activities required to support existing products and manufacturing operations. These activities include but are not limited to:
• Leads compliance activities for quality system elements:
• Design Control
• Document Control
• Receiving Acceptance
• Nonconforming Product
• CAPA
• Labeling
• Records
• Analyzing post market metrics to identify continuous improvements projects, implementing proactive quality activities into the manufacturing plants.
• Providing support for Risk Management executions throughout the organization to drive consistent Risk Assessments
• Providing support for trending, analyzing, and executing the Complaint Handling process to identify opportunities to drive process, product, label and/or component improvements
• Providing compliance expertise and product knowledge to the cross-functional teams for understanding and investigating product complaints for resolution.
• Partnering with vendors to facilitate supplier quality and maintaining a risk based approach to management of suppliers
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3 years of experience in quality assurance or product quality analysis.
• Proven experience with quality testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center, TestRail).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the product domain.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications such as Certified Quality Analyst (CQA) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA).
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
