Job Description:
• A Senior/Lead level developer/technical architect with strong software Product Development Background.
• Should have expert level skills in Postgres Db. i.e.,
• Strong command on Postgres Architecture & its internals like query optimizer (for ex like indexing strategies, parameter tuning etc..), storage system (tablespace management), transaction manager, system catalogs & tables, memory management & connection management.
• Experience with Linux shell (preferably Ubuntu) & Docker Containers is must.
• Design, own & maintain database schema keeping both backward & forward compatibility in view.
• Should be able to resolve complex problems by investigating and devising solutions for Postgres database operations.
• May include packaging, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance of database management.
• Must be 100% hands-on with end-to-end Database Development encompassing Database Design and Development working with cross-functional teams.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
• A certificate that demonstrates Advanced skills in PostgreSQL from entities like EDB is desirable but not mandatory
