Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Research Analyst I who can contribute immediately to current projects as well as contribute substantially to growing the company.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with the Managing Analyst and Lead Investigators as needed, to coordinate research development and to ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
• Work closely with scientific investigators and project leaders to develop and execute an approach for qualitative and mixed methods research, including primary data collection through focus groupsand key informant interviews and analysis using qualitative coding software (e.g., Dedoose, NVivo, Atlas).
• Gather and synthesize existing information on health and health care topics through the use of environmental scans, literature reviews, and gap analysis.
• Work with Managing Analyst to contribute to a wide variety of analytical tasks, including simple quick-turnaround data requests for funding sources and the general public, and analyses for investigators or committees.
• Demonstrate ability to conduct research under the direction of supervisors and principal
• investigators.
• Assist authors with preparation of tables and figures for inclusion in a variety of written
• materials.
• Prepare results for presentation in public forums to biostatisticians and non-biostatisticians
• (including clinicians) and attend committee meetings and conferences, as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in public health, health services administration, or related field (Epidemiology, Economics, Public Policy, Social Work, ) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated work experience (at least 1 year) in one or more of the following in health or health care fields: program evaluation, quality measurement, payment models and reimbursement policies, innovations in care delivery models
• Demonstrated work experience (at least 1 year) with qualitative and quantitative analytic methods in health care
• Strong writing ability and oral communication skills with a wide variety of audiences
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Aptitude and experience coding data in qualitative analytic software, such as Dedoose, MAXQDA, or NVivo
• Experience conducting focus groups and cognitive interviews
• Ability to work collaboratively and iterate products with a variety of stakeholders under tight timelines.
• Understanding of federal healthcare programs and policies.

Annual Salary Range (US National Average)
$57,600 – $90,600
Base Compensation Determination
Base Compensation is determined by market range and geographic location pay zones. Base Compensation
also includes various individual factors unique to each candidate such as job level, prior experience, skill set,
certification and educational which may impact the compensation structure.
This position is classified as exempt according to FLSA guidelines
