Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Researcher with extensive experience in academic research and white paper writing. The ideal candidate must be proficient in conducting thorough research across various fields, compiling and analyzing data, and presenting findings in a clear, structured, and scholarly manner. The researcher will also be responsible for writing well-researched, original, and informative white papers adhering to academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive research on assigned topics using credible sources such as academic journals, books, databases, and other reliable publications.
• Synthesize and organize research findings into coherent, structured white papers.
• Follow standard academic research protocols, including research methodology, literature reviews, data collection, analysis, and ethical considerations.
• Write clear, concise, and professional academic papers, ensuring adherence to citation styles (APA, MLA, Harvard, etc.) and formatting requirements.
• Prepare and submit drafts and final versions of research papers or reports according to project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers or other team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Review and edit documents for accuracy, clarity, and coherence before final submission.
Qualifications:
• Preferred but not a must. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines).
• Proven experience in conducting academic research and writing white papers or similar academic publications.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and academic standards.
• Familiarity with academic citation styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in specific industries or academic fields relevant to the organization’s focus.
• Proficiency in research tools and databases.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or similar) is a plus.
• Previous publications or contributions to academic journals are highly desirable.
