Inventory Specialist

As one of the first hires, you will be a critical member of our team and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that will challenge and inspire you. In this role, you will work as an early member of our supply chain team to handle the customer orders and management of piece parts. You will also work closely with other engineers and technicians to design, develop, and iterate on the material process flow for the factory.
Salary parameters for this role are based on experience, with a base in the $20 - $35 range. In addition, we also offer equity participation and full benefits. This position is onsite and will be based at our company headquarters in Torrance, CA.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for material flow to the production floor
• Track components such wire, cable, connectors, and consumables to their respective kitting operations
• Enter/scan material information such as supplier, distributor, date received, and various other data fields
• Audit inventory levels throughout the facility
• Audit inventory kits before production to ensure the proper components and quantities match the drawing
• Update purchasing information
• Utilize machinery and automation to kit components and cut cables/wires
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent certification and 2+ years in a supply chain or inventory management team or an associate's degree in supply chain, or engineering
• Experience in an inventory kitting environment
• Familiar with Excel, SharePoint, and ERP systems
• Has worked in a fast-paced environment such as construction, food services, or manufacturing
• Ability to work through multiple tasks at once
• Has a team-oriented attitude and will take pride in their work
• Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with avionics components
• Experience with wire harnessing and handling connectors, cables, wires, and consumable items
• Experience with coordinating shipping with various distributors
• Experience auditing multiple build of materials before they enter production
• Experience with electronic inventory systems such as SAP, Manufacturo, First Resonance, Oracle, Odoo, etc.
