Position Overview

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. You will be responsible for managing the schedule, coordinating with patients and referring offices to schedule appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and treatment planning, while providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the dental appointment schedule efficiently, maximizing productivity while accommodating patient needs and preferences.

- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, scheduling and confirming appointments, and addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure proper scheduling of procedures, treatments, and consultations, optimizing chair time and minimizing gaps in the schedule.

- Maintain accurate patient records and information in the practice management software system, ensuring all details are up-to-date and organized.

- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, explaining financial responsibilities and processing payments accurately.

- Follow up with patients regarding missed appointments, recalls, and pending treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office organization to support the smooth operation of the dental practice.

Qualifications:

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with dental practice management software.

- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
