We are looking for coaches who LOVE MATH and love coaching students. We run afterschool enrichment programs and summer camps in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our students are in Grades K-6. We focus on creative problem solving. We combine material from a wide range of competitions (Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad Div E, Fan4, etc) with our proprietary curriculum.
We are currently hiring for Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 classes.
Responsibilities
You will coach afterschool math enrichment classes. A class at a given school typically meets in a classroom at that school once a week. Class time windows are "after the bell": most days, ~3:00-4:15 ; early release days, ~ 1:45-3:00. We provide the curriculum and manipulatives. You provide your awesome coaching skills and enthusiasm. We work with coaches to create a coaching schedule that fits their scheduling constraints.
Coaches will also be considered for tutoring opportunities and summer camp staff positions.
Qualifications
A passion for children and math are a must. Leadership / classroom management skills are preferred.
