Junior Developer/Systems Analyst

Summary: The Junior Developer / Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions to support business needs. This role will involve Salesforce administration and integration, automating workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps, and programming in RPG and JavaScript. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent Computer Science graduates eager to apply their skills in a professional environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and IT team members to gather and understand business requirements.
• Assist in configuring and administering Salesforce, managing user permissions, and integrating Salesforce with other systems.
• Design and implement automations using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Develop low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps to meet departmental needs.
• Perform programming tasks using RPG and JavaScript, including developing new features and maintaining existing systems.
• Provide technical support for applications and systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Assist in creating technical documentation for both operational and system-level procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improving current systems and processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, software development life cycle, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Salesforce administration, Power Automate, or Power Apps is a plus.
• Programming skills in RPG and JavaScript; knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java is beneficial.
• Understanding of web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and APIs.
• Familiarity with database management systems and SQL is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools, especially related to business automation and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
